I discovered Jamie Brown in 2017 when I was pregnant with my first daughter! She was just starting her business and I loved the timeless feel of her photos and her attention to detail. During our first session, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable- she even gave us the most delicious brownies I have ever had! Jamie is patient and always finds a magical way to get my daughters (and husband) to corporate. Over the years, she has grown with my family. We have had countless sessions with her and I’m blown away by the photos time and time again!

I was recommended to Jamie through four of my very good girlfriends who highly recommended her for newborn photos, milestone photos and family photos. My favorite thing about Jamie is that she has everything you need for every photo shoot. She always makes a point to make your babies laugh or smile and captures those perfect smiling moments all at once. She has every prop that you could ever want for newborn photos and milestone photos. Her client closet is so beautiful and I have even used a dress from there for my most recent newborn pictures. Jamie has been so great through so many milestones and captured most of the pictures hanging on our walls in our house. Her natural light photographs are so stunning. Her brownies that she brings at every shoot are just the icing on top of the cake, they never last long in our house!

What initially drew my eyes to Jamie’s work are the soft, natural lighting and colors of each photo. Everything else is an extra blessing! Jaime has a way with kids of all ages. That special touch with newborns is a gift. She captured a smile from all five of my children. That is not an easy task!
Her amazing client closet is such a treat. Jaime has a great eye for colors and helped tremendously coordinating outfits for our family photos. That was one item I loved not stressing about. We had a wonderful experience with Jamie and loved the end result. Her talent and hard work shine through these beautiful photos.

We were referred to Jamie by a friend who had nothing but fantastic things to say about her. We booked her for newborn photos and couldn't be happier with the results! Jamie was absolutely amazing with our son, had the best ideas for props/poses/locations, and was a joy to be around. We had never met her, but she felt like a friend in our home. Since then, we had Jamie take pictures for our Christmas card. This time, our son was a toddler, but that made no difference to Jamie. I wanted someone whose pictures didn’t look like everyone else’s. I also liked that she came to my house to do newborn pictures with props and a client wardrobe. She also brought homemade brownies which were amazing!!! She made us feel extremely comfortable. As a first time mom with a baby born 5 weeks early, Jamie made this the easiest experience ever. She did everything with our son and gave us a little break. Every single picture turned out amazing. We had a hard time picking out which ones to frame. Two things come to mind when I think of why I love working with Jamie: process and product. The process is enjoyable and the final product is treasured! Jamie has photographed my family in so many different stages: my engagement, when we welcomed a new baby and even celebrating my parents’ 40th anniversary with extended family photos. To be transparent, each of these sessions have been preceded with stress on my part. Stress that we won’t look good or stress that my kids are in a grumpy mood or stress that we’re going to be late! Each time, when we meet with Jamie we find patience and kindness and fun, and we leave feeling lighter and more connected to each other. We find the process of taking photos is actually fun! My son goes from arguing about the clothes he’s been asked to wear to snuggling up to his newborn baby sister in the most adorable way. I go from stressing over what to wear on my new postpartum body to feeling beautiful in a dress borrowed from Jamie’s client closet. It’s magic! We always receive the final photos quickly and I can never stop looking and obsessing over how beautifully she has captured my family in all its different stages. Life flies by. I’m so thankful for Jamie and for the way she has documented these special moments in our lives!

I can't say enough wonderful things about working with Jamie. We booked her at the recommendation of a friend for our 3rd sons newborn, milestones, and 1st year photos. Right from the beginning, she was so easy to work with and very accommodating of my ideas and requests. She was so great with our older boys in engaging them for sibling and family photos. They turned out absolutely gorgeous and are ones I will cherish forever. She also has a huge selection of gowns that photograph beautifully to help everyone feel and look their best. It was also super convenient to have her come to our home for the newborn photos. She brought everything with her and not having to leave the house with a newborn and siblings in tow was a game changer for sure! I was so pleased to get a sneak peak of our photos super quickly and had all of our images to review in record time! We started booking photos with Jamie after our son was born. We needed newborn photos and heard she was the baby whisperer. She ended up getting some great shots of the whole family and has been for 3 years! I don’t have to think about anything, she takes charge and helps with poses. The kids love her and give big smiles for her and her toys/treats. She captured the posed pictures but also got some great candid ones that ended up being my favorite. Also, my husband had some sweat stains on his shirt while shooting in the Florida heat. Jamie was able to edit out the sweat so you’d never know! She is so great at getting everyone to smile, she even got my dog to look. I can’t imagine working with anyone else. I don’t have to worry about anything, I just show up and she always gets great shots!
